The Older I Get, the Colder I Feel
I’m sure most of you thought that this post was going to be a morbid editorial about aging, and the bitterness that comes with it. Look elsewhere. I’ve never felt pessimistic about aging, and I never will. Cold has a literal meaning in this posting.
Winter has come early this year. I don’t know how I feel about this. All is know is that I will be ready for it. No screwing around. One must make sacrifices in this season in order to maintain either:
1. Fashion Sense
or
2. A Warm Body
If you know me well enough, I usually choose option number 1. Come rain, shine, or snow, I must look my best. If this means I wear thin dress pants to go with my new sweater, I will freeze to coordinate appropriately.
NOT THIS YEAR.
I have zero tolerance for cold. The fashion trend for this season is layers layers layers!!!
Best accessory for leggings? A pair of tights underneath
Gonna go with jeans? Spanx are a good companion
Wearing a dress? Uggs + Leg Warmers + Pants for the commute = Perfection
Long johns are my best friend….and Ugg boots w/wool socks. Tonight, I went to the gym wearing Adidas pants over leggings, three layers of shirts, a down coat, and a black hat with my hood over it. Did I look like a boy? Yes. Was I warm and cozy? Yes.
